| FIST
SA (France Innovation Scientifique et Transfert) an affiliate of
the CNRS and ANVAR, is developing its international partnership research
service by making inventions available on its Internet site www.frinnov.com
for commercial development by industrialists in high-tech businesses.
FIST is making its Internet site www.frinnov.com available to small and medium-size businesses, industrialists, financiers and shareholders of upstart firms. This site offers a hundred of CNRS technologies with several hundreds to come, in all of the major areas of science. It will be updated regularly and will become an essential work tool for industries and financiers who wish to acquire or promote exploitation rights to innovative technologies. The patent portfolio is one of the key factors to the success of high-tech companies since it is of utmost importance that the people in charge be aware of the new technologies associated with their projects as early as possible. The site www.frinnov.com makes it easy to surf among state-of-the-art technologies presented in a language that is easy to understand. They may be accessed, either by technical category or by key words. The description of each technology specifies the laboratory of origin, the associated technologies, the procedure for obtaining patents and licenses already granted. Internet users can sign up to receive an electronic newsletter the first time they visit the site, making them eligible for Frinnov updates. They will receive a secrecy agreement upon request and additional information about the technologies that they have chosen. Moreover, innovative technology owners can ask FIST to help them market their innovations through Frinnov. FIST will propose an offer adapted to each technology contributor. By improving the visibility of French research results and encouraging technology transfer within companies in the long run, Frinnov's goal is to contribute to the advancement of society. FIST hopes that this site will become the showplace for innovative French technologies. FIST SA, France Innovation Scientifique et Transfert, an affiliate of the CNRS and ANVAR, is a company that provides assistance for the development of innovative technologies.
